How very refreshing it is, after a long, wet and cold winter, to see the emergence of another spring. It is a reminder to each of us that while the trees were barren and little if any vegetation was seen for so long that our land has awakened to a rebirth. It is also a reminder that hope and joy spring forth at this time of year. The Bradford pear trees have been beautiful with their white blooms that gave the appearance of being snow capped. The redbud trees were showing their lovely spring colored flowers; the wisterias cascading blooms hung heavily from trees into which they were intertwined; the pine trees have been heavily laden with pollen and the dogwoods were beginning to blossom with blooms that remind us of the cross.
