THE NUTS & BOLTS

 OF THE WORD

The Word of God comes to us in: 66 Books, 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. God’s Voice speaks to us in 1,189 chapters, 31,102 verses and 788,258 words. The total composition took over 1,600 years to complete. No book on Earth has ever taken so much time, required so much effort, imparted so much knowledge and incorporated such profound wisdom in its pages as does the Word of God.

The Bible is a book of history, poetry, prophecy and power. It is the ultimate example of cohesiveness of thought and purity of purpose. It is the divinely ordained, eternally unalterable, faith inspiring, soul transforming, angel creating, universe forming, earth shaping Word of Almighty God.

Patrick Henry: 'The Bible is worth all other books which have ever been printed."

Andrew Jackson: "That book, sir, is the rock on which our republic rests."

George Washington: "It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."

Abraham Lincoln: "I believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given to man. All the good from the Savior of the world is communicated to us through this book."

Napoleon: "The Bible is no mere book, but a Living Creature, with a power that conquers all that oppose it."

Queen Victoria: "That book accounts for the supremacy of England."

Horace Greeley: "It is impossible to enslave, mentally or socially, a Bible-reading people. The principles of the Bible are the groundwork of human freedom."
